A New Beginning

Waaaaahhhhh Best nya tak payah pergi kerja. No need to join the morning rush (mana ada traffic jam kat sini pun). No need to think of what to wear to work today. And no need to make my self up as well. Sounds heavenly!!!

That's how I feel today hehehe. Must still wake up at the same time though to prepare breakfast for the girls going to school, but after that I can start doing my other things at a more leisurely rate. Not as before when I had to rush to complete fast so that I can then rush to the office.

But huhuhuhuh. No income for this month and all the months to come. Budget is a bit tight and definitely need to tighten the belts.

I am not going to just sit around the house doing nothing and as Ety had put it study ASTROlogy. Remember I had my stayhome program/plan. Now it's serious execution time.

First thing today after sending Ayin to school was to wash the tiolet (Regular exercise plan hehehe) Ehhh, berpeluh2 tau sental toilet tu. Then, I cook for mak's breakfast and then I start login in here. Seriously, I have allocated some time after the subuh prayer to do some workout exercise. Have started doing it since last week. But have not got into momentum just yet. Need more discipline and determination on that.

I plan to be on the internet for at least a few hours a day while my washing machine is washing my cloths. Then back to the kitchen for cooking lunch and some other housework.

In the afternoon, it's gardening time. I had asked from hubby to use the pasu-pasu that he had bought (save duit aku hehehe) for my gardening project. I have some serai waiting to be planted into the pot, I have some chilies as well. Will be adding some more as I go along.

So now. I am off to the bathroom. I must continue to bathe early otherwise.... come afternoon, I would still be smelling stale ( as in air liur basi). hehehehe.

Looking Back

This is probably my last entry from the office. I have 10 working days more to go inclusive of today. After that? Who knows. I have not recieved any new job offer right now. So most likely I would be at home for I have no idea how long. It would be nice for the first few weeks I guess, as I would not have to rush through to complete the work at home before rushing to the office. Not having to have to think of what to wear to the office for the day. Not having to think what I would do at the office for the day to let the days passed by. If I wanted to, I can always go back to sleep after the girls have gone to school and hubby to work. :-) Mengeram atas katil no? hehehe. But I don't see that I would have that luxury though. I may be be taking it a little easier though.

But I wonder how long it would be before boredom eventually set it. I do have my stay-home plan remember? :-) Now, I really need to execute those plans. At the same time I may even have to set a time table so that I can fill up the days more effectively.

Looking back, 2 years ago I was really bored in this office. I knew that at the end of the day, something like this will happen. It was just a matter of when, sooner or later. I didn't expect to be loosing my job, but as the new development set in then it was clear that I would be redundant. That's almost normal in take over situations. As there were not much things to be done, I took to the internet, looking for some interesting things to do and to read. I stumbled upon blogs and was bloghopping like crazy. Putting comments everywhere, making myself known, making new friends on the blogsphere. Through times some friendships did develop into something stronger. It was really amazing that we can make friends and become rather close to those friends even though we have never set eyes on them.

In the end I can no longer resist the temptation to start my own blog. After a few encouragement I started my first entry. Through blogging I found an avenue to vent my frustrations at time, my sadness, my happiness etc. Thank you to all who have been reading and giving me the encouragement all this while.

When the time comes for me to stop working, I had been asked to stay for another 3 months (Jan - March 2007). OMG, I thought, what am I going to do for the next 3 months. Absolutely, "makan gaji buta, goyang kaki saja". I know, it's a job most people would die for hehehe. There's almost nothing to do. I pictured myself falling asleep on my chair (if I don't fall OFF it, hehe).

To tell you guys the truth, I did doze off a few times on the chair for the last 3 months. :-)

So as the end is near, I am actually thankful that I have had this extension. I used the time to do a lot of research and reading. Sampai naik kero mata aku dok baca e-book. After this I definitely need to go and change my specs. I took myself off the blogsphere and chatting to do that. Now you know ekk, why I rarely update my blog nowadays hehehe. There were days which I didn't event bloghopped, I have lost touch with a lot of what people been discussion on the blog. If I did read blogs then it would be the selected few ( friends and family plan - macam iklan prepaid pulak dah!). Meebo pun tak bukak, sekali sekala bila dah rasa terlalu bosan baru aku chatting sekejap. Sekejap2 pun setengah hari jugak tu.

What have I been reading or researching? It will remain my own secret for the time being. But one of the topics is on MENOPAUSE hahahaha.......
